Traditional Acapulco: also called Nautical, it is the old part and there is the center of the city, the historical neighborhoods, and the port. It extends from the beaches of Caleta and Caletilla to Papagayo Park and is located about 22 kilometers from the Acapulco International Airport. There you can enjoy many local dishes such as ceviche.

Golden Acapulco: it extends from Icacos through the main avenue Costera Miguel Alemán to Papagayo Park, which covers a large part of the bay. It is a hotel zone due to the large number of tourists that visit it every year, but there are also residential apartments.

Diamond Acapulco: It is also known as Punta Diamante and is the most modern area of Acapulco and the most developed. It has exclusive resorts, international luxury chains, golf courses, spas, and a wide variety of restaurants. This area begins in Las Brisas, includes Puerto Marques and Punta Diamante, and extends to Barra Vieja Beach. It is 10 minutes from the Acapulco International Airport.

Acapulco has 20 kilometers (12 miles) of beaches, from Barra Vieja to Pie de la Cuesta, so there is a wide range of options and plenty to see. It also has many tourist attractions such as the cliff La Quebrada; the amphitheater Sinfonía del Mar; the fort of San Diego; the Cathedral of Acapulco; the Plaza Alvarez; the Pie de la Cuesta, among others.

Traveling to this Mexican resort is guaranteed fun, but you can also relax on its incredible beaches. Most of the attractions and points of interest are concentrated on the Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán, so there is no need to travel too far.
