One of the most-watched sporting events in the world, the Super Bowl, which compares to a World Cup final and the opening of the Olympic Games; however, the latest figures have fallen far short of what one might imagine.

For the United States, it is the most-watched sporting event, considering it is the most-watched sport, but many will wonder which spectacle is more watched worldwide, a World Cup final or the Vince Lombardi Award.

According to Statista data, the last Super Bowl was watched by 99.9 million people in the United States, while in the rest of the world it was watched by approximately 30 to 50 million, for a total of 150 million people.

On the other hand, FIFA stated that the last Russia 2018 World Cup final, the match between France and Croatia, was watched by 517 million fans. The Brazil 2014 final generated a total of 562 million viewers and the South Africa 2010 final, 531 million.
