The Puerto Vallarta Marathon 2022: A Good Sports Event
On Saturday, April 2nd the participants will receive their kits and the Puerto Vallarta Marathon 2022 will take place on the 4th of that month, starting at 6:30 am.
Good response from runners from the region, Mexico, and different parts of the world who are taking part in the third edition of the Puerto Vallarta Marathon. Shortly before 7:00 AM, the official start was given in the marathon and half-marathon categories, minutes later the 5 km runners.
Despite a delay of almost half an hour in the starting time, the runners, already desperate but still motivated and with attitude, people were ready to start running through the main avenues of Puerto Vallarta. A sports event with an excellent atmosphere in which even runners from other countries came to participate; special athletes, complete families, and sports institutions proved that it is possible to reach the finish line.
Three distances
Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta are the only two of the 125 municipalities of the state that have an international marathon of this category.
The course starts in Puerto Mágico, towards the Agustín Flores Contreras sports unit, then it will enter Fluvial Vallarta and from there to Nuevo Vallarta, returning to Puerto Mágico, with a total distance of 42.195 km.
