This week the health board will be in session and one of the points to be raised is that nightlife establishments may operate at 100%, with a view to the Easter holiday period. Puerto Vallarta is getting closer and closer to operating at 100% in all its commercial establishments, including nightlife establishments.
After several weeks in which covid-19 infections have been scarce and hospitalizations and deaths have decreased significantly, the table of specialists will analyze if we can return to the conditions we had before the pandemic started.
Specifically, the nightlife is the one that still has some capacity restrictions, however, these could be eliminated just before the Holy Week and Easter holiday period, when thousands of tourists are expected in the city.
In addition, the possibility of removing the mandatory use of masks in open public areas is being considered, as has already been approved in the states of Nayarit and Nuevo León. Little by little the sanitary conditions are improving in Jalisco and this will have positive repercussions in Puerto Vallarta.
