For five days, the Annual Assembly of the Major Wine Capitals was held in the city of Bordeaux, which closed its work program with the Best of Wine Tourism international awards gala. The evening took place in the Palais de la Bourse, where the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bordeaux operates.

The event began with the performance of local artists, who unfolded all their talent before the assistants of the different delegations interpreting a fusion of dances that included tango.

The most important moment of the night came when the presenters announced the Gold winners of each Great Wine Capital in the different categories. For Mendoza, the participants were Postcards Boutique Hotel (Accommodation), Rosell Boher (Restaurant), Bodega Santa Julia (Sustainable Practices), Bodega Faraón (Architecture and Landscapes), Fiesta de la Cosecha (Art and Culture), Wineobs (Innovative Experiences) and Wines and Pleasures (Related Services).

An international jury made up of one representative from each of the Wine Capitals chose a Gold winner for each member city. For Mendoza, the award went to the Rosell Boher winery, whose restaurant, with this recognition, becomes the most outstanding of the current season in terms of wine tourism, and becomes part of the list of the best wineries restaurants in the world.

"This important award is a recognition of excellence in wine tourism. We are proud of all the gold winners from Mendoza in the different categories, and without a doubt, Rosell Boher is a complex that has it all, and its restaurant, now run by chef Lucas Olcese, is among the best winery restaurants in the world. A tourist who visits us has the possibility of enjoying the best gastronomy and wines of Mendoza in a wonderful context, such as being surrounded by vineyards and with a view of the Andes mountain range", highlighted the director of Promoción Turística, Marcelo Montenegro.
