Mazatlan has 10 cases and one suspected case of monkeypox
The director of Health Jurisdiction 5, Cristopher Jonathan Cruz Maa, has confirmed that new cases of monkeypox have been reported in the city of Mazatlan.
The health official said there are 10 confirmed cases of monkeypox in Mazatlan and one active case under study. He asked the population to maintain hygiene measures and to be alert in the case of high fever, skin rash, and swollen lymph nodes.
If so, they should go to the medical unit to be evaluated by the doctor, to be tested to confirm or rule out the condition, to receive the treatment required, and to isolate themselves to reduce the risk of contagion.
