The Secretary of Civil Protection of Guerrero, Roberto Arroyo Arroyo Matus, revealed that at the conclusion of the phenomenon of the heat wave on August 11, 12 to 13 hurricanes are expected in the state.

When he was interviewed in the port of Acapulco after the launch of the Communities of Well-being with Happiness program, he said that it will rain more.

"There is a probability that there will be atmospheric disturbances that will produce around 12 to 13 hurricanes of important category up to four."

On the other hand, he reiterated the call to schools, hospitals, and public and private companies to register on the Civil Protection page, so that they can register and participate in the macro drill, which will be held on September 19 after noon.

The state official said that the purpose of the drill is to find out where buildings are weak in their evacuation plans and to be ready for an earthquake with a magnitude of more than 7 degrees.

Arroyo Matus pointed out that so far this year, on average, more than 3 thousand earthquakes have been registered so far this year.

Finally, he informed us that the highest activity of telluric movements is during the month of December, not in September, "because statistically it has been established with records of more than one hundred years that normally it is in December where there are more earthquakes, although on average more earthquakes have been experienced in the month of September."
