Hurricane Estelle is expected to become a category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson scale, although it is not expected to make landfall in Mexico.

Hurricane Estelle: when will it rise in the category and where is it headed?

Hurricane Estelle will move northwestward, maintaining its intensity as a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale. In the next hours, it will head towards the south of Baja California Sur. That is why, apart from the aforementioned entity, Sinaloa and Colima will register intense rains and high waves.
