A 24-year-old man was attacked by a crocodile while swimming in the sea at the "Bocanegra" beach in the Marina Vallarta neighborhood.

While swimming in the sea, a 24-year-old man was attacked by a crocodile at "Bocanegra" beach in the Marina Vallarta neighborhood. The attack occurred at night and was attended by the Civil Protection of Puerto Vallarta and the State Unit of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Jalisco in the Marina Vallarta neighborhood.

At the moment of the attack, he was helped by his companion who entered the sea to free him from the crocodile and asked for help through the emergency line. He was helped by his companion who entered the sea to pull him out.

The man who was swimming presented injuries in both lower extremities, right upper extremity, thorax, and abdomen. The companion was also injured in the right upper extremity and right groin area.

The two injured are tourists from Colorado, United States, and were taken to a private hospital in Puerto Vallarta.
