Gerardo Martino, the coach for the Mexican team in Qatar
Gerardo Martino, an Argentinean coach, will be participating in his second World Cup after leading Paraguay to the quarterfinals in 2010.
The Mexican National Team will compete in the World Cup without Gerardo Martino. The Argentine coach, who has been in command of the national team since 2019, is coming closer to Qatar 2022, a championship that begins on November 20 and in which Mexico will compete in the Group Stage against Poland, Argentina, and Saudi Arabia.
Gerardo Martino, also known as "Tata" has played for clubs such as Almirante Brown in Argentina's Second Division, Platense in the First Division, Instituto (2nd), Libertad of Paraguay, Cerro Porteo, Colón, Newells Old Boys, Barcelona, and Atlanta United during his coaching career.
