WALMART MEXICO & CENTRAL AMERICA

Walmart de México reported that the Federal Economic Competition Commission (Cofece) notified its parent Walmart Inc. of its opposition to the purchase of the Cornershop home delivery application.

Since the first edition of the Hot Sale, in 2014, and until 2018, Walmart de México and Office Depot have been the companies that have received the most complaints from their clients before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).

The total revenues of the Walmart supermarket chain grew 4.6% to 151 billion 734 million pesos, impacted by lower growth in net sales due to the shortage of gasoline at the beginning of the year, reductions and delays in the importation of clothing.
