Monterrey, the capital of alternative music
The Fundidora Park of the city of Monterrey will receive Pal'Norte festival on the 22nd and 23rd of March, a massive concert that for seven years has brought together important international rock talents; just last year, it registered an attendance of more than 200 thousand people, which represents a 100% occupancy for Monterrey, and also benefits hotels and tourist services in the nearest municipalities. This year, Arctic Monkeys, Santana, Kings of Leon, Los 1955, Café Tacvba, Good Charlotte and Nicky Jam, are some of the invited bands.
Machaca Fest 2019 will celebrate its eighth edition on June 22 at the Fundidora Park, where there will be rock in English, alternative, reggaetón, gruperas, cumbias, rap, ska and hip hop, in addition to the traditional regional food, games and activities of entertainment, attributes that have distinguished it as the "race festival". Gwen Stefani, Los Angeles Blues, Jaguars and Zoé are part of the confirmed cast.
The Cabuland Festival, the biggest reggaeton festival in the north of the country, will be presented on August 10 at the Fundidora Park, and one of the surprises for this year will be the return of the Wisin y Yandel duo. Also in the month of August, Hello Festival opens the doors to share new musical proposals in a relaxed, interactive and with gastronomic areas.
