This Indian company will invest in Mexico
As a show of confidence in Mexico, the Indian brand Bajaj Auto Limited will begin to assemble their motorcycles in the country, hand in hand with the Mexican MotoDrive, the most important distributor of this type of vehicle in the national territory.
The production plant in Toluca, State of Mexico, is expected to begin operations next month, with the capacity to manufacture about 50 thousand motorcycles per year, which will allow both companies to continue advancing within the Mexican market.
The MotoDrive Network Development Manager, Ernesto Ibarra, highlighted that Bajaj is a world leader in low displacement motorcycles as well as in the development of new technologies.
Similarly, said that for the first time will be presented at the International Franchise Fair, to be held in Mexico City, looking for distributors in the national territory.
MotoDrive is the master distributor for the Bajaj brand in Mexico and in April it will consolidate as the company in charge of importing, assembling, distributing and selling motorcycles and parts of this brand within the Mexican Republic, he noted.
"We have had extraordinary acceptance from new investors. Today with 55 groups of distributors, operating about 77 points of sale, and our idea to continue growing to reach all corners of the country, "said Ibarra.
Mexico is among the countries with the largest circulation of motorcycles in Latin America, with an average of 16 per thousand inhabitants.
