The fishing community, Las Coloradas, was considered the number one of the 10 best little-known places to visit, as an alternative tourism place, in Mexico, by the US agency Expedia.

Las Coloradas is located in the east of Yucatán and belongs to the municipality of Río Lagartos; his position was obtained after a vote among travel experts and recommendations on social networks, particularly on Instagram.

Expedia shows Las Coloradas as a magical town, in which its inhabitants, in addition to fishing, have an industry in the salt market.

International travel agencies invite you to learn more about the Laguna Rosa in Yucatan, which describes that "it acquires dyes as if it were a strawberry yogurt a part of the day during the saline process".

Within the list, there are nine other places among them, Mahahual, in Quintana Roo, which is located in third place, behind Puerto Escondido Oaxaca.

Mahahual is described as "a small portion of paradise in Quintana Roo, with 45 kilometers of beautiful beaches, surrounded by archaeological zones and Mayan communities that still preserve their original dialect."

The rest of the destinations were the caves of Tolantongo, Hidalgo; Comala, Colima; Tapijulapa, Tabasco; What about Marcos, Nayarit; Mineral de Pozos, Guanajuato; Cuetzalán, in Puebla, and Troncones, Guerrero.
