The Platinum Ibero-American Film Awards will be presented again in the Riviera Maya
Mexico will once again host the Platinum Prizes for Ibero-American Cinema, promoted by EGEDA (Entity for the Management of Rights of Audiovisual Producers), FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Film and Audiovisual Producers), Ibero-American film academies and institutes, Latin Artis and the AISGE Foundation, Riviera Maya.
For the second year in a row, the awards ceremony will be held at the Gran Tlachco Theater in Xcaret on May 12, 2019. It is the sixth edition and will be transmitted to Latin America by pay channel TNT, after signing a new agreement with the organization of the awards, for which he will continue to broadcast the act live for three more years.
The platinum of the seventh art of the 23 countries of Ibero-America were delivered in 2014 in Panama, the following year they were given in Marbella (Spain), for 2016 in Punta del Este (Uruguay), in 2017 in Madrid (Spain) and in 2018 in the Mayan Riviera (Mexico), which reached more than 150 countries by the emission made by TNT (Turner), also responsible for transmitting other great awards for Latin America such as the Grammys, Golden Globes and Oscar. This January 22, at 7 o'clock in the morning, Oscar nominations will be broadcast by Kumail Nanjiani and Tracee Ellis Ross.
