The 9 airlines that opened routes in Cancun in 2018
The airlines Viva, STC, Azur, Calafia, Sunwing, Aeromexico, Miami Air, Suncountry and Jet Air were the airlines that opened routes in Cancun last year.

Added to this is a new direct flight from Volaris from Mexico City and a direct flight from Magnicharters from Monterrey. In 2019, as REPORTUR.mx revealed, the Turkish airline will land at the Cancun Airport in August with three frequencies a week.
