The Riviera Maya will confirm its leadership as a world-class tourist destination during its participation in the 39th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) to be held in Madrid, Spain from 23 to 27 January, with the participation of a delegation that will attend on behalf of the municipal president, Laura Beristain Navarrete.

It is necessary to mention that the mayor will remain in the municipality to not neglect the activities of his investiture and to continue with its policy of serving citizens personally, with order and hope, 365 days a year, as well as to work to guarantee the security of the solidarenses families. In his representation, to the most important tourist fair in the world, will attend the general director of Tourism, Ernesto Bartolucci Blanco and the director of Special Events, Guadalupe Carrillo, who go as a team with the delegation of the Riviera Maya made up of hoteliers, gastronomy and tourism providers in general.

The delegation that will be part of the Mexican Caribbean pavilion and the Riviera Maya brand in particular, will seek to strengthen tourism in the municipality, through scheduling appointments and business contacts with the various exhibitors - travel agencies and tour operators - as well as specifying interviews with influencers, bloggers and specialized media in the sector, in order to achieve greater recognition of the tourist destination and potential travelers know the news it has to offer.

What is sought is to schedule appointments with the different exhibitors with the aim of establishing commercial alliances, cultural exchanges or of another nature that benefits our municipality and position our destiny.

This is the first contact, because to strengthen strategic alliances there is follow-up work, through constant and effective communication. According to the organizers, FITUR 2019 is preparing one of its most complete editions, in which sustainability, technology and specialization will continue to play a leading role, coexisting with new themes, trends and strategies aimed at consolidating and improving results achieved in the last call, which brought together 251,000 participants and in which more than 6,800 business meetings were held. And in the case of the Solidaran delegation, the goal is to visit the 10 pavilions that make up the fair.
