With the style of Japanese animation, the Netflix series Seis Manos (Six hands) will feature the voices of Angélica Vale, Aislinn Derbez, and Danny Trejo. Set in the Mexico of the 70s, three martial arts experts will join forces with a US DEA agent, as well as Mexican police to locate the murderer of his master and destroy a network of criminals in the country. This will be the narrative of Six Hands, a production of Netflix that will be released this year.

The revelation of the series occurred in the framework of the Anime Expo, held over the weekend in the United States and in which the first details of the characters were shown, such as Isabela, a Kung-fu warrior who will seek to enforce justice and order through his mastery of martial arts. Aislinn Derbez will lend her voice to the main character of the series.

For her part, Angélica Vale will play García, police assigned by her superiors to the city of San Simón, a quiet town that will be immersed in violence and crime. While Danny Tejo will give voice to El Balde, a crime boss who will seek to impose his power in San Simón through his illicit activities.

Six Hands
The story of Six Hands is not entirely original but the animation promises to have the best quality.

The series will be made by the Powerhouse Animation house, which shared the official art of the characters that will make up the series. The studio has been responsible for other Netflix hits such as Castlevania. In recent months, the streaming platform has opted for the anime series to attract audiences, as they caused a stir by the recent launch of the classic series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Subsequently, on July 7, Netflix Latin America, in its Twitter account, confirmed the project and informed that Trejo would play the villain of the series (El Balde) and showed what the protagonists would look like: Behind this production are important names, such as Brad Graeber, writer, and producer of the animated series Castlevania; Álvaro Rodríguez, scriptwriter of the film performed by Trejo, Machete and Daniel Dominguez, screenwriter of SpongeBob.

In addition to the Mexicans, there are other American actors in the cast as Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Jonny Cruz (The Stinky & Dirty Show), and Vic Chao (Pearl Harbor). There is still no date for the premiere of Six Hands, but as soon as we know it, we will update this note.
