The First Salsa Festival will be held by OCESA and FR Producciones on Friday, March 22 at 8:00 pm, at the GNP Seguros de Mérida Forum.

Talent includes Isaac Delgado and his Orchestra, Alexander Abreu and Havana D 'Primera, Maykel Blanco and their salsa mayor and Los Van Van.

The event has been conceived as a show of several hours that will feature orchestras, a dance floor for attendees, Camila Atroche as host, DJ Javier Ambrosio, and the Bailemos Salsa school in Yucatan that will offer performances among orchestras with colorful choreography.


Flags of Cuba, giant screens, lights, and special effects will give a touch of magic to the show. Meanwhile, in areas surrounding the site, stands will be located selling handicrafts, records and some groceries, all linked to Cuban culture and especially to their music, as is the case with the CD that contains 2 songs from each of the participating orchestras. , for a total of 14 successes of these groups with the festival's poster on its cover.
