Riviera Mazatlan is presented in the Mexico Pavilion at Fitur

The goal is to bring Europeans to discover, live and enjoy the benefits of southern Sinaloa, at least that's how it will be presented in the 40th edition of this world meeting.

From this Wednesday until Sunday, January 26th, the Riviera Mazatlan project is exhibited in the Mexico Pavilion of the International Tourism Fair 2020, in which everyone is invited to learn about the new destination of southern Sinaloa, said the Spanish media, Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres.

The mayor of Mazatlan explained that this alternative that includes six municipalities in southern Sinaloa offers all kinds of alternatives ranging from gastronomy, culture, and natural fun, and where the goal is to bring to learn Spanish and if alone fall in love with this corner of the world.

"It is a new project, a new product, very fresh, incredible attractions, we are the entrance to the Sea of Cortez, we are the only place that has our own sea, we do not share with anyone the Sea of Cortez, incredible, there is history, there is gastronomy, there is everything you can imagine, the best Carnival in Mexico".

The Mazatlan Riviera debuted this Wednesday at the International Tourism Fair 2020, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary, where the Munícipe Benítez Torres asked to be allowed to know this alternative to travel as a family.

This Wednesday afternoon, the opening ceremony of the Fitur took place, a meeting that seeks to show the strength of the global tourism industry, with the participation of 918 exhibitors, and 11,040 companies from 165 countries and regions.

This event was attended by Miguel Torruco Marques, Federal Secretary of Tourism, who officially opened the Mexico Pavilion, where Sinaloa and the Mazatlan Riviera have their space, a new tourist destination integrated by the six municipalities of Southern Sinaloa: Elota, San Ignacio, Mazatlan, Concordia, Rosario, and Escuinapa.

In addition, the Governor of the State, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, and Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres cut the inaugural ribbon of the Sinaloa stand, inside the Mexico Pavilion.

To show off the Mazatlan Riviera to the world, a delegation led by Chemist Benitez Torres, municipal officials, the queens of Carnival 2019, Karla Rivas, and Yamilé Zataráin, and Mazatlecan businessmen were present.

Fitur 2020 will take place over five days, from January 22nd to 26th, and will welcome both tourism professionals and the general public, who are looking to get to know the destinations on offer first hand. The first three days the fair opens its doors exclusively to professional visitors, and during the weekend also to the general public.
