Who is PewDiePie and why is youtuber with the most followers in the world?
Video games are his specialty, his world is the internet and his comments catapult various types of entertainment. The 30-year-old PewDiePie is originally from Gothenburg, Sweden and his fame has been on the rise in recent years.
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is the name of the famous PewDiePie, a youtuber considered by Forbes as one of the 100 most influential young people in the world.
What does he do?
Felix Arvid is dedicated to recommending video games with horror and action themes. His fame began when he opened his first Youtube channel "PewDie" in 2011, that year he was studying Industrial Economics and Technology Management at Chambers University of Technology, but decided to abandon his studies to devote himself fully to his channel.
His first project had a bump, as he forgot the password for the account, so he had to open a new space that he named "PewDiePie", the current channel that catapulted him to fame.
His peculiar style and way of commenting on his gamer-type content in front of the camera began to attract the attention of both users and video game production companies that began to screen with his comments.
By 2012, Felix Arvid was already a blogger with 2 million subscribers, a figure that places him in the first place that year. The revamping of his style took a turn to start with a more typical style of Youtube and thus to count 60 million followers after five years of trajectory.
He has reached two records: in 2015 he obtained the Guinness Record for having the largest number of subscribers in a YouTube channel with 38,746,465; the second, was the first person in this social video network to reach 10 billion views.
How much does he earn?
According to a study conducted by Purple Moon, the world's most famous youtuber earns about $8 million a month. This for the sale of his products and advertising revenue for his videos.

On December 14, youtuber announced that he will take a temporary break from his career, due to tiredness, noting that he plans to go away in early 2020.
"I'm tired. I feel very tired. I don't know if you can say that. Just so you know, early next year I'll be gone for a while. I'll explain it later, but I wanted to give an announcement," he said on his YouTube channel.
He had already made this break known on other occasions where he said it would be "not having YouTube in my brain for the first time in 10 years".
