Peru installs business center in Guadalajara to raise business
Mexico is the second country after Brazil, where Peru set up a Business Center, consolidating itself as one of the top 10 markets, said David Edery, Manager of Services Exports of PromPerú, who highlighted the first job to be held in Guadalajara, in the editorial area.
In an interview, he pointed out that the objective of this Business Services Business Center of the Andean country is to give continuity to Peru's foreign trade plan in Mexico. He stressed that thanks to the Pacific Alliance, in the last 10 years the commercial relations between both countries have been strengthened, which allowed the bilateral exchange to arrive in 2018 at two thousand 363 million dollars.
According to the World Trade Organization, Mexico's imports of business services reach 700 million dollars per year, this motivates Peruvian companies to open a range of quality services exports with differentiated costs. He also stressed that the first job that will be done in this office, located in Guadalajara is for the editorial area.
"For seven years, we have had a sustained presence at the International Book Fair in Guadalajara, so we are proud that our first task is to send a container with 30,500 publications, belonging to 14 Peruvian publishers," said David Edery. He said that the second edition of the Peru Service Summit Mexico, a specialized event that brings together the best content and business solutions in the services sector, will be added from March 4 to 8 in Guadalajara and Ciudad from Mexico.

Throughout the last years, Peru Service Summit has grown significantly, and in its last edition exceeded all expectations reaching 151 million dollars in commercial commitments.
