
New tourist route Chaka-li Costalegre announced in Jalisco
Through the new circuit, the Sectur hopes to increase the tourism of said area

The Secretariat of Tourism of Jalisco (Sectur) announced the new route Chaka - li Costalegre with which they hope to increase visits to the beaches that make up part of the coastal region of Jalisco, informed Enrique Robles, head of the unit.
"The State of Jalisco has the most diverse offer of tourist attractions, this time we are proud that the municipalities together with the Secretariat have coordinated us in the creation of the Chaka-li Route, which is a very diverse route, rich in attractions, as it includes beach destinations as well as mountain, ecotourism and cultural activities."
Tomatlán, La Huerta, Cihuatlán, Cuatitlán, Villa Purificación and Casimiro Castillo are the municipalities that are part of this route. Municipal authorities, considered it important to unite resources of the state and the private initiative of the region, to promote the Chaka-li route.
Chaka-li is expected to start in October when the foreign tourism season begins.
The Chaka-Li Route will be made up of the following activities:
One day trips and overnight on the beach
Zip line on the mountain
Horse riding on the beach or mountain
Visits to protected natural areas
Visit to the Environmental Management Unit on the Coast
Visit to the petroglyphs in the mountains
History about the pirates and expeditionaries of the Coast
Equine therapy
Tour of Cuastecomates, first village and beach inclusive
Experience of the traditional festivals of each of the municipalities, as well as its gastronomy.
