Details of the Mobile 360 Series Latin America in Mexico
GSMA announced the first details of its Mobile 360 Series Latin America conference, which will take place from June 4 to 6, 2019 at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma, Mexico City. The three-day event, which is now in its fifth edition and will arrive in Mexico for the second time, will examine the technologies, business models and government strategies that drive digital transformation in Latin America.
The first confirmed speakers for the main conference include Carlos Slim Domit, Chairman of the Board of América Móvil; Carlos Alberto Morales Paulin, CEO of Telefónica México; Byungki Oh, Vice President of Korea Telecom; Osvaldo Di Campli, President for Latin America at Nokia; Carla Gonzalez, Vice President of Amdocs; Marco Quatorze, Executive Vice President VAS of Telcel; Gabriel Solomon, Ericsson Head of Government & Industry Relations Europe & Latin America; Claudina García, Senior Director of Legal and Public Affairs Mexico of American Tower; José Murillo Garza, Chief Analytics Officer of Banorte; Max Tremp, Cisco Lead Engineering for Latin America; Marilú López, President of DAMA Chapter Mexico.
After its debut in the 2018 edition, 4YFN (Four Years from Now) will return to Mobile 360 Latin America to help startups, investors and companies connect and generate new initiatives together. The Latin America Strategy & Innovation Forum will once again bring together experts to analyze disruptive trends and relevant developments for the business model of mobile operators. Another activity that returns is the dialogue table on gender, which this year will address the situation of women working in technology and the benefits of diversity in the industry.
On June 6, IDB Invest, an arm for the private sector of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), will hold the IDB Invest IoT Summit. The event will bring together companies from the regional IoT ecosystem with a Korean delegation to facilitate business opportunities and inter-continental exchange of ideas. In order to ensure that the leading companies in Latin America are represented, selected companies will be invited to the meeting to show an IoT product or solution with a positive impact on the Latin American market.
