The development of different software in the world allowed companies from different sectors to unite to offer more proposals to users. Within this framework, Telecom and Nokia announced their alliance to offer new corporate IoT services through the Nokia WING solution.
The imminent technological advances in the world make that day by day, companies with different proposals, join to offer new experiences to the users. With hyperconnected dynamics, people perform hundreds of operations every day just a click away. Whether with smartphones, tablets or computers, the connection between computers is extremely necessary for today's activities.
One of the most outstanding developments, which will have great relevance in the future, is the loT (Internet of Things) technology, which connects objects and sensors to each other in order to provide solutions to people's lives through the Internet.
According to estimates by the GSMA, the number of IoT connections will grow by nearly 180% worldwide by 2025, reaching 25 billion dollars. Likewise, IoT revenues in Latin America are expected to grow and reach more than 47 billion dollars by that same year.

Consequently, Telecom and Nokia formed an alliance in which loT corporate services will be offered through Nokia Worldwide IoT Network Grid (WING). This way, it is proposed to companies, of any vertical, an integral solution easily configurable and scalable for each business model.
Benefits of WING
This is a new infrastructure that will allow the easy implementation, deployment, management, and monetization of IoT services. In other words, Telecom provides companies and/or organizations with real-time information and statistical data necessary to carry out their commercial management in an agile way and eﬁcaz, as well as for the projection of new infrastructure investments that accompany the growth of the project.
Likewise, incremental services such as connectivity and device management will allow the telephony company to create value opportunities, which will be added to the current network and to the future 5G network. Nokia's IMPACT platform will provide device management functionality as part of the overall WING solution.
"We are expanding our ability to provide comprehensive solutions to our corporate customers and solve their IoT related needs with a faster and more agile time to market. Nokia WING will enable us to leverage the expected growth of the IoT business in Argentina," said Fernando Freytes, IoT Manager at Telecom Argentina. He added: "With this new platform we seek to reinforce our leadership with a focus on the end-to-end Internet of Things (IoT) business, providing not only connectivity, but everything needed to help customers take IoT to its fullest expression.
On the other hand, Ankur Bhan, WING's business manager at Nokia, pointed out that this link highlights Telecom as the first Argentine company to offer WING services. "Nokia WING continues to develop throughout the Latin American region and Telecom becomes the first Argentine company to use WING's services. As corporate customers increasingly need IoT services as part of their digital transformation strategy, we at Nokia are at the forefront of innovations that enable new IoT use cases using a range of connectivity options, including 5G," concluded the entrepreneur.
In this way, the new alliance between the firms results in the arrival of IoT technology for corporations in Argentina. Undoubtedly, a type of service that is already part of the main bets of the firms worldwide.
