There is no complete information about the foundation of the Japanese garden, but the most known versions indicate that it was founded in 1942. At that time its structure was very different, in its foundation a labyrinth of bushes was created, which attracted well-known personalities. The garden was used as a filming location for some movies by Pedro Infante, Viruta, Capulina, Cantinflas, and Fin Tan.
