Los Pinos, property that was the official residence of the presidents from 1935 to 2018, can be visited from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, starting December 1st.

The property has been the official residence of the presidents from 1935 to 2018, however, since he was a candidate, López Obrador said that, if he won the presidency, he would not use Los Pinos.
Los Pinos covers a space of 56 thousand square meters. In addition to the presidential residence there are two office buildings, as well as facilities of the Presidential General Staff; these areas will be closed to the public.
For the next six-years the presidential residence can be visited from Saturday, December 1, when López Obrador assumes as President, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, through door 1 located in Parque Lira, and the door 3 in the Chapultepec forest.
In a statement, the López Obrador team reported that the houses that can be visited within the enclosure will be Miguel Alemán, López Mateos, Miguel de la Madrid, Venustiano Carranza and Lázaro Cárdenas.
The "Complejo Cultural Los Pinos" will be the responsibility of the Ministry of Culture from December 1, and the protection of the enclosure is the responsibility of the Ministry of National Defense.
