Mastercard announced the appointment of Jorge Noguera as president of Mexico and Central America, who will lead the company's growth and positioning strategy in the region. Noguera has an extensive background in Mastercard and more than 25 years of experience in the payment industry; Before taking this position, he was president of the Andean region and the Caribbean, and executive vice president of Market Development for Latin America and the Caribbean. Jorge Noguera's change of position is the result of the appointment of Antonio Junco as Executive Vice President of Government Relations for Latin America and the Caribbean.

In this position, Junco will be responsible for promoting the relationship with governments, government institutions, social institutions, and the public sector in general, to encourage the creation of programs focused on strengthening financial inclusion in the region.
