Influencer business is worth up to 15 million dollars in Mexico
In 2019, the influencers market will reach an approximate value of between 10 and 15 million dollars. Mexico is one of the most established countries in Latin America in this advertising practice, said the advertising agency Fluvip.
As part of the Day of the Influencer, which is celebrated on November 30, the influencer marketing agency in Mexico and Latin America, noted that this way of advertising is effective, because it uses the persuasive capacity of personalities with great media coverage and in social networks.
The country manager of the firm in Mexico, Paulina Fagoaga, said: "We consider the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) calculations very likely, that the growth rate would reach figures of up to three digits in subsequent years."
The recent Study of Investment in Internet Communication 2018, of IAB Mexico and the Mexican Association of Promotional Agencies, calculated that in 2017 the investment of strategies with influencers both in the agencies and in publishers registered a growth of 34 percent.
Regarding the earnings of an influencer, the firm calculates that they can range from 500 pesos to millions, all depending on the number of followers they have and the terms of contracts that can stipulate the number of impressions, website visits or leads.
Finally, in Mexico, the retail and fashion sectors are those that most use the services of influencers, representing 60 percent of the contracts they have signed in the last three years.
