In Monterrey, beer orders up because of Super Bowl
Within a couple of days of the Super Bowl, beer orders and sales in the city increase by up to 81 percent, according to the Cornershop app.
According to application data, the increase in sales of alcoholic beverages in the city is recorded during the week of the Super Bowl. In 2018, sales increased 81 percent.
It was specified that in the days leading up to Super Bowl LII, the presence in orders increased by 97 percent.
The Contry area grew its orders by 141 percent and in the municipality of San Pedro, the orders increased almost double.
Nationally, it was reported that the sale of beer during the Super Bowl of 2018 increased by 132 percent, with the presentation of 12 beers the favorite of Mexicans.
Among the favorite brands were Corona, Michelob Ultra and Modelo.
