The hotel chain Iberostar plans to invest in Mexico during the next three years from 200 to 250 million euros or its equivalent to between 227 and 284 million dollars, resources that will channel the development of three properties in the tourist centers of Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta .

"Between 200 and 250 million euros will go to Mexico in the period 2019-2022, taking into account the construction of a hotel in Puerto Vallarta and the construction of two more complexes in Los Cabos," said Rafael Carmona, director of operations of the Spanish company in Mexico.

For properties in the area of ​​Los Cabos, Baja California, the firm acquired a land of 4 million square meters where it plans to build a couple of properties with 1,000 rooms, the executive said.

The hotel in Puerto Vallarta could be inaugurated in 2020 and will have 306 rooms, with which the company expects to reach 5 thousand 300 keys in the country during the next three years.
