Mexico wins nine medals in Duathlon World Cup in Spain

Mexico won nine medals, including a gold medal by Narda Cuen, at the Duathlon World Championships of the International Triathlon Union (ITU), which was held in Pontevedra, Spain.

The Mexican Federation of Triathlon announced this Saturday that, in addition to Cuen's gold in the age category, seven silver and one bronze medals were also obtained in the same category.

Jimena Ortiz and Michell Orozco (16-19), Alejandro Bonilla (20-24), Astrid López (30-34), Georgina Almaráz (35-39) and Mario Salazar (45-49) won the medals for second place and the only bronze was the work of Alejandro Bonilla (20-24).

In the Para-triathlon World Series, which took place in Milan, Italy, Abraham Estada stayed with the bronze and added units for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
