The Mexican Embassy in Egypt shared the emergency number for Mexican nationals who are in that country; this, given the situation being experienced due to the coup d'état in Sudan. What was said? Through its Twitter account, the Mexican Embassy indicated that in case of requiring assistance, the emergency telephone number for Mexicans in Sudan is: + 20 1 09 326 9490 (international dialing).

What happened? This Monday, October 25, the Prime Minister of Sudan, Abdalla Hamdok, and his wife Muna Abdallah were arrested and taken to an undisclosed location in a coup d'état carried out by the military. Meanwhile, the country's Information Ministry said Hamdok had been placed under house arrest by "military forces." In addition, several ministers and government officials have also been arrested.
