From June 4 to 6, during the China HomeLife Mexico trade fair, representatives of 1,600 companies from China will visit Mexico, which is considered the largest delegation that has been registered on national lands, said the Mexico-China Chamber of Commerce.

"This is a record number of Chinese companies that will be exhibiting at the third edition of the China HomeLife exhibition that will be held in early June in Santa Fe, Mexico City, which demonstrates the interest of that nation to enter to the Mexican market."

Those Chinese companies will bring 50,000 products and expect sales for one billion dollars during the trade fair, but also plan to make alliances with Mexican companies and establish offices to reach the US market from China.

Among the objectives of the business, the meeting is also to achieve close to a thousand business agreements to export different manufactured products to Mexico. In turn, the idea of ​​Mexico is to present more than 50 thousand products, including machinery, tools, clothing, toys, appliances and different textiles.

Mexico is one of the most important markets for China due to the size of the Mexican economy and its attractiveness as a neighboring country to the United States, a geographical position that makes it strategic for the Chinese to enter the US market.

The trade balance between Mexico and China is around 78 billion dollars per year, where the deficit with China is 70 billion dollars per year. Mexico only places products worth eight billion dollars a year in the Chinese market.
