Chiles en nogada recognized as the best dish of 2019
The traditional poblano stew of chile en nogada was recognized as the best dish of 2019 by the México Desconocido magazine.
The publication, dedicated to the history, nature, culture, and destiny of Mexico, made a vote among its readers to qualify "the best of Mexico" in different categories.
As a result of this survey, it was determined that both the chiles in nogada of Puebla and the bread of cazón de Campeche, were raised with the title of "best dish", in addition, the Talavera poblana was also awarded the mention of "best crafts".
Among the different options, the voters evaluated:

• Best beach
• Best colonial city
• Best archaeological zone
• Best Museum
• Best church
• Better crafts
• Best dish
• Best adventure experience
Before this news, the secretary of culture and tourism of the State of Puebla, Alejandro Cañedo Priesca, published through Twitter account the news accompanied by the message: "#NoSomosPlaya, we are gastronomy, art, culture, and tradition."
