According to an analysis carried out by Despegar, the leading online travel agency in Latin America, the tourist activities in the most reserved national destinations, through Internet, by Mexican travelers during 2018 were: tour to Chichén Itzá, the Xcaret theme park, the tour to the ruins of Tulum, Isla Mujeres and the visits to Teotihuacán.

While, in international destinations, the most demanded in 2018 were the parks of Disney and Universal Studios (Orlando), the Blue Man Group Show (Las Vegas), the Michael Jackson show of the Cirque du Soleil ONE (Las Vegas) , City Pass tours (New York) and climb the Eiffel Tower (Paris).
In addition, the report indicated that Cancun was the destination with the most reservations in tourist activities carried out online by national travelers during 2018, followed by the State of Mexico, then Orlando, Las Vegas, New York, and Paris.
"Now Mexican travelers seek to prepare everything for their trip before leaving and even book their activities previously online, since, in addition to finding greater availability, doing so in advance can save more than 20% on the cost compared to acquiring the tour or entry to the event until the destination," said Francisco Ceballos, country manager of Despegar Mexico.
