With these openings, Viva Aerobús provides an unprecedented opportunity for an air connection between the north and south regions of the country, as it is the only and first operator offering the Cancun-Hermosillo and Hermosillo-Los Cabos routes directly.

The official said that, in this way, the company serves as the ambassador of the wide range of Mexican tourism and business opportunities:
"We are, for example, the Mexican airline with the largest number of destinations from Los Cabos and from Cancun, and from Quintana Roo we will add in December another route between Cancun and Cuba."
Recently, the airline opened two new flights from Mexico City, bound for Oaxaca and Hermosillo, reaching an offer consisting of 111 routes, of which 98 are national and 13 international. The continued expansion of the airline is supported by a growing number of passengers.
In that sense, it highlights the high preference of passengers in cities such as Tijuana or Los Cabos, where "Viva" achieved an increase of 58 and 40 percent, in terms of customers throughout 2018, compared to 2017.
The increase in the number of passengers was a constant throughout the route network during 2018, when the company broke its own record of 10 million passengers in a single year, which implied an increase of 21 percent in general.
During February, according to the latest available report, the Mexican airline transported more than 695 thousand travelers, a figure that represents a growth of 12.17 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
