The tourist resort city of Cancun, Quintana Roo, is preferred by American tourists, reported a report by the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), where they point to the Mexican port as the number one among 10 summer destinations. With this, for the fourth consecutive year, the Mexican port obtains first place and surpasses places like New York, Orlando, London, and Las Vegas.

"When we looked at the top 10 destinations comprehensively, we saw that the levels remained firm," said Chuck Thackston, managing director of ARC's Data Science. The secretary of tourism, Marisol Venegas, said that the numbers in both national and international arrivals have increased in the first four months of the year. Foreign tourism on Mexican coasts offers different growth opportunities and better-paid jobs.
