An Argentine winery chosen as the best in the world in wine tourism
"Everything we do is related to the terroir and is an expression of Argentina and specifically of the Uco Valley," said José Alberto Zuccardi, director of the winery, upon receiving the award.
According to the winegrower, the goal of the winery is "to give consumers a total experience of what Uco Valley is, both through our wines and the ingredients we use in our restaurant, and even the land."
For his part, Andrew Reed, founder of Word's Best Vineyards, said that "wine is produced in around 60 countries around the world and is very important for many national economies. In the United States alone, 17% of all its travel agents are dedicated solely to wine and gastronomic tourism "
The modern Zuccardi winery was inaugurated in 2016 in Paraje Altamira, San Carlos, Valle de Uco.
With the support of the International Wine Challenge, the awards from The World's Best Vineyards focus on the quality of wine tourism or wine tourism from more than 1,500 wineries around the world and select the ones they consider the best 50.
In addition to the wines, the participating jurors evaluate the gastronomy, the route, the environment, the personnel, the view, the price, the reputation, and the accessibility.
