The company announced the appointment of Angelo Guerra as its new director of the Mexico Business Unit, who will continue to report to Osvaldo Di Campli, vice president for Latin America.
Angelo Guerra assumes leadership of Nokia's Mexico Business Unit
Prior to this appointment, Guerra was Sales Director for the Latin America-North region that includes Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He has a long history of 18 years at Nokia, including responsibility for strategy, alliances and sales of 5G in the region, as well as business management with Telefónica América Latina. He has worked in virtually every country in the region including Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and more recently in Mexico, the company said.
Angelo Guerra completed the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Master's in Business (MBA) at Ibmec Business School. He is an Electronics Engineer from CEFET of Rio de Janeiro.
In his new position, Guerra will be responsible for continuing to strengthen the commercial relationship with customers in Mexico and to promote the deployment of new technologies such as 5G, new generation software and IoT, as well as the development of new sources of income for operators, such as (SPaaP = service provider as a partner).
He will also be responsible for supporting operators in their E2E digital transformation projects and the development of new business verticals for Nokia in Mexico.
