Aeroméxico will launch a route between Mexico City and Barcelona in June
Aeroméxico has announced, within the framework of the celebration of the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), which is being held these days in Madrid, the creation of a new route between Mexico City and Barcelona that will begin operations from June 15 with three weekly frequencies.
Barcelona is the fifth Aeromexico destination in Europe, which consolidates its presence on the continent and makes it the only airline in Mexico that serves on that route.
The airline has indicated that during 2019 it will expand the frequencies to the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, with a total of 18 weekly flights, and in Paris-Charles de Gaulle, with up to 11 weekly flights. In total, the company will increase its flights by up to 22%.
This growth in connections is due to the high demand of our routes, since during 2028 the number of passengers transported to Madrid grew by 17% compared to the previous year and those of Paris by 10%.
