Elements of the Directorate of Citizen Security and Road of Ecatepec were alerted by the shots, which were heard from inside the bus.

The events occurred at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, when four people appeared to be passengers and boarded a truck belonging to the "Pegasso" line, after which they threatened the rest of the people with firearms.

After the altercation, municipal police began the persecution, after which Jaime 'N' of 25 years of age, Jesus 'N' of 44, Luis Angel 'N' of 25 and Linda Yadaith 'N', of only 13 years old were arrested.

According to a report by Merced Guillermo Fragoso Estévez, head of the municipal corporation, the detainees kept 40 people who traveled in the truck and stripped them of their belongings by threats.

The criminal gang is investigated for its probable responsibility in other assaults committed to other public transport lines.
